Tweed and tie Challenge

The 8th edition will take place on May 23, 2026!

Our name reflects the two pillars of our company: tweed and hunting. Tweed, a timeless symbol of outdoor elegance, and hunting, an ancestral way of life.

In 2018, we had the idea for an event embodying the Tweedchasse spirit. An event where sport shooting and elegance would come together for a day. We called this event the Tweed and Tie Challenge. The idea was to organize a clay pigeon shooting competition where participants would be keen to dress chicly.

The Tweed and Tie Challenge quickly became very successful, attracting enthusiasts of clay shooting and tweed waistcoats, as well as numerous partners, charmed by the concept of the day.

How does this elegant day unfold?

It's simple: teams compete on ten shooting lines of ten clays. At the end of these 100 clays, a beautiful trophy awaits the best team. But the competition is just an excuse. The main thing is to meet up, in tweed, in a tie (or in a kilt for the most Scottish!), to spend a pleasant time together. That's the spirit of the Tweed and Tie Challenge!

In 2025, 100 participants were present at the Nemours shooting range. About twenty partners also answered the call, including Laksen, Daniel Féau immobilier, Armurerie Elysée, Armes Prestige, Ridgeline of New Zealand, Jours de Chasse, Le Chameau, Mauser, Chasses Eternelles, Blaser, Sauer & Sohn, Chrysalis, Croots, Shoot-off, La Garenne, Decorten, Blaser, Alan Paine, among others.

You don't need to be a sport shooting champion to win something, as prizes are drawn by lot. In 2025, the first prize was a magnificent Browning shotgun.

The eighth edition will take place in 2026. Join us at Aline Dulary and Bastien Havart's shooting range, the Sporting Club des Sables in Nemours (77). Subscribe to our newsletter to not miss any of the latest news!
