Tweed and tie Challenge

The 6th edition is the 8th june 2024!

Our name is indicative of the two pillars of our business: tweed and hunting. Tweed, a timeless symbol of outdoor elegance and hunting, an ancestral way of life.

Five years ago, in 2018, with Guillaume Auclair from Domaine du Mahomet, we had the idea of ​​an event embodying the Tweedchasse spirit. An event where sporting shooting and elegance would come together for a day. This event, we called it the Tweed and Tie Challenge.

The idea was to organize a clay pigeon shooting competition where participants would be keen to dress chic. The Tweed and Tie Challenge was quickly very successful, attracting lovers of trays and tweed waistcoats, as well as many partners, seduced by the concept of this day.

How is this elegant day going?

It's simple, teams compete on ten shooting lines of ten trays. At the end of these 100 trays, a very nice cup for the best team. But the competition is only a pretext. The main thing is to get together, in tweed, in a tie (or in a kilt for the more Scottish!) to have a good time together. This is the spirit of the Tweed and Tie challenge!

In 2023, 120 participants were present at the La Râpée stand. About twenty partners responded to the call, including Ridgeline of New Zealand, Jours de Chasse, Le Chameau, Daniel Féau, Laksen, Mauser, Chasses Eternelles, Blaser, Sauer & Sohn , Chrysalis, Decorten among others. You don't have to be a sports shooting champion to win something, because the prizes are drawn at random. In 2023, the first batch was a magnificent Browning B525S 20 caliber shotgun.

In 2024, it will be the sixt edition. Date to confirm, but still in Fleurines (60) the shooting place of Delaplace brothers.
